I am able to succcessfully P2V Server 2000 with Converter 4.0.1 and boot it once. After the VM boots for the first time, which is does with no issue, ti detects new hardware and I tell it to reboot. From that point forward, it says the config registry hive is missing or corrupt. Has to be something related to the new hardware it detects but I can't figure out what.
I've tried this process two ways. First way I let the VM reboot after it found new hardware. The second time, I installed VMware Tools before I let it reboot, both result in the registry issue.
This is not the scsiport.sys issue, that is the correct version. SCSI Controller detected as BusLogic Parallel
Any ideas on what's causing it, or what to look at?
